Layout

104 emblems, 97 illustrated with woodcuts, on the pattern of the earlier 1531 edition. All emblems are printed in in the order: motto, woodcut (when present), subscriptio, with no regard for logical page breaks. Texts mainly in italic, 85mm for 20 lines.

Remarks

This edition can be distinguished from the first 1531 edition by the later date in the colophon (here 6 April 1531).
